Ava Joyce Best Whitfield, 68, LaGrange, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Liberty Grove Missionary Baptist Church of LaGrange, with pastor Harold O. Warren officiating. Interment will be in Saint Matthew Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery of LaGrange.
She was born Nov. 4, 1949, to Beulah B. Gray of LaGrange and the late Robert Lee Best.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Britt Funeral Home of LaGrange, with the family present 5 to 6.
Tuesday, the family will assemble at 11:45 a.m. at 5459 Bear Creek Road, LaGrange, for the funeral procession.
