Maxine Sauls Wooten, 74, 1723A E. Holly St., died March 14 at Duke University Hospital of Durham.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Burial will be at Golden Gate Memorial Pavilion.
She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Wayne County to Jodie and Annie Mae McCray Sauls.
She is survived by her children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
