FLORENCE S. "CUTIE" RODGERS
Funeral services for Florence S. "Cutie" Rodgers will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at New Generation Church, Summit Road, Goldsboro. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, U.S. 70.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, McLean Rodgers.
She is survived by six daughters, Paula Rodgers of the home, Audrey R. Frazier, Maxine R. Durham, Gail R. Lincoln and Judy R. Horton of Goldsboro and Brenda R. Thomas of Hampton, Va.; a son, Kenneth R. Rodgers of Goldsboro; two brothers, the Rev. Ezekiel Sutton and Peter Sutton of LaGrange; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends; and special friend, Annie Best.
The body may be viewed Thursday between 6 and 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 202 or 206 Winslow Circle.
