Susan "Suzie" Talton Jackson, 57, Dudley, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Suzie was born in Norfolk, Va., Jan. 12, 1961, to the late Oscar Frank and Louise Barnes "Doodle" Talton.
She was working as a pharmacist technician with Walmart in Goldsboro.
Suzie will be remembered by many for her love of life and its varied possibilities.
She loved helping people and dogs in need.
Suzie also loved baking goods, making crafts and listening to the oldies.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Suzie's life at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with Dr. John Crowe officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Eureka Cemetery.
Suzie is survived by her husband, Martin Jackson; daughter, Sandra Pender; stepdaughters, Denise Zastudil, Crystal Jackson and Megan Jackson; granddaughters, Brianna Carter and Paisley Carter; and two stepgranddaughters, Sophia Jackson and Reagan Jackson.
She is also survived by her brother, Donald Talton and wife, Brenda; nephew, D.W. Talton; and nieces, Cristina Sittig and Kimber Pender.
