James P. Talbert, 79, 110 S. Spence Ave., died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Care.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park South.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, with family present 5 to 6, at Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel and an hour prior to the service at the church.
