Burial will be in Maryland.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., Dec. 4, 1940, to the late Bryan Jr. and Ruth Bowen Black. She was married to the late Joseph Smith.
She is survived by two daughters.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
