Joyce Johnson, Wilmington, passed away Nov. 7, 2017.
She was born to Willis Henry Swinson and Lily Kornegay June 16, 1929, in Duplin County, N.C.
Joyce lived in Newnan, Ga., for many years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Newnan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her six siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Bernard Johnson Jr.; son, Marvin B. Johnson III; daughters, Cynthia Joy Johnson and Candace Gay Johnson; and grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton Moore, Swinson Matthews Moore, Caitlin Christine Johnson and Catherine Lillian Johnson.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Nov. 11, 2017, at Roberts Chapel Cemetery, 2617 Britton Road, Pendleton, N.C., 27862.
A memorial service will be held in Newnan, Ga., at a date to be announced.
