Charlie "Boe" Dortch Swinson, 86, 612 S. Claiborne St., died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery with military honors.
He was born in Goldsboro to Emmett and Sudie Johnson Swinson Aug. 1, 1931. He was married to Gloria Mitchell Swinson.
He is survived by three daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
