Tom "Boy Harper" Harper Sr., 85, Kinston, died Sunday at Lenoir UNC Healthcare.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Post Oak Free Will Baptist Church of Kinston. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park of Kinston.
He was born May 8, 1932, in Greene County to Paul and Effie Barfield Harper.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home of Kinston.
