James Frederick "Freddy" Godwin, 77, Kenly, died Monday at Johnston UNC Healthcare.
Graveside service will be today at 3 p.m. at Buckhorn Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Wilson County to Polly Godwin Barnes and the late James Henry Godwin. He was married to the late Martha Jean Godwin.
He is survived by two daughters.
