Mary Griggs Sweet, 77, died Sunday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Graveside service will be held for the family.
She was born in Anson County Jan. 27, 1940, to the late Jasper and Clara Thomas Griggs. She was married to the late Robert Sweet.
She is survived by a daughter.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
