Simon Leroy Hamilton, 76, 1856 E. Trail Drive, Wilson, died Thursday at home.
Funeral will be Monday at noon at Contending for the Faith Church, Wilson. Burial in Hamilton Burial Gardens.
He was born Jan. 15, 1941, in Wayne County, to the late David Hamilton and Annie Sykes Hamilton. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hamilton; and six children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the church, with the family present to receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
