Richard "Ricky" Lewis Lyerly, 66, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at home.
A service will be held at a later date.
Ricky was born in Rowan County, N.C., Feb. 23, 1951, to Mildred Hammill Lyerly and the late Carl Whitson Lyerly.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Lyerly of Goldsboro; his son, Christopher "Chris" Benton Lyerly and girlfriend, Melissa Easton, both of LaGrange; and a brother, Carl Whitson Lyerly Jr. of Raleigh.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
