William Thomas, 71, 147 William Faison Road, Kenansville, died Thursday at home.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at St. James AME Church of Kenansville, with the Rev. Tony Mills officiating. Burial will be in Middleton Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Annie James Thomas, and husband of Ima Smith Thomas.
Three children survive.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
