PEGGY PIERCE FUTRELLE

Peggy Pierce Futrelle, 88, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Peggy was born in Pender County, N.C., April 20, 1929, to the late Walter McClure and Mamie Rivenbark Pierce. She was married to the late Walter R. Futrelle Jr.
Peggy was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro.
She was retired as a receptionist from Cherry Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 10, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Peggy is survived by her son, Lee Futrelle III, of Goldsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Music Fund, 1101 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
