Retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Leonard Charles Stempin, 78, died in Charleston, S.C., May 23.
Funeral will be held later. Burial will be at Beaufort National Cemetery of Beaufort, S.C.
He was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to the late Leo Stanley Stempin and Minnie Amelia Martin. He was married to Deborah and the late Gertrude.
He is survived by two sons.
Arrangements are by Palmetto Cremation Society of Charleston, S.C.
