HERMAN THOMAS LASSITER

Herman Thomas Lassiter, 66, passed away Saturday at Wayne UNC Heathcare.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Thurman and Hazel Capps Lassiter.
He retired from Bonitz.
A service to celebrate his life will be 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at Seymour Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Kelly Buffaloe officiating.
The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service and at other times, at the home of his daughter Sherry, 742 Gurley Dairy Road, Pikeville.
Interment will be Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Surviving are his children, Chris Lassiter and wife, Emily, of Pikeville, Sherry Vinson and husband, Shane, of Pikeville and Robert Lassiter and Danielle Fabrizio of Princeton; grandchildren, Cassandra Lassiter, Skyler Lassiter, Sarah Vinson, Caleb Lassiter and Sydney Vinson; and sister, Joyce Jackson of Wilson.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Cures for the Colors, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
