Kenneth Wayne Blackman, 53, Clinton, passed surrounded by family Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allison Lancaster officiating.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman and a lover of all types of fishing.
The family will receive friends at the church following the funeral service.

Survivors include daughters, Summer Blackman Gray and husband, Daniel, of LaGrange and Savannah E. Blackman of Goldsboro; parents, Charles E. and Mirjean Blackman of Clinton; brothers, Mitch Blackman and Tammy of Garner and Mark Blackman and Lynne of Spartanburg, S.C.; favorite nurse, Jana Blackman of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
