MARY JANE MEWBORN-PHILLIPS

Mary Jane "Red" Mewborn-Phillips, 82, of 108 Broughton Lane, LaGrange, died Saturday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Mary was born April 12, 1933 in Greene County to the late Elijah Mewborn and Macie Kornegay-Mewborn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Phillips.
She is survived by two daughters.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., with Bishop Steve Head officiating. A public viewing will be held there from 10 until 10:50 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at 9:15 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home in preparation for the funeral line-up.
Interment will be held in the Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm St., Goldsboro.
