James Cleveland Hinnant, 82, died Monday at SECU Hospice House.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Micro Memorial Gardens, with Rene Wallace officiating.
He was born in Wilson County Sept. 15, 1933, to the late Ellie and Clara Johnson Hinnant. He was married to Mildred Worley Hinnant.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
