James Oscar White Jr., 89, Chinquapin, died Tuesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral will be at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church in Chinquapin Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Tommy Newkirk officiating. Burial will be at Judge Family Cemetery in Chinquapin.
He is survived by a daughter, two sons and an adopted son.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
