ANNE L. MOZINGO

Anne Lynch Mozingo, 73, LaGrange, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Anne was born April 17, 1942, in Wayne County to the late John Patrick Lynch and Frances Eason Gray.

Anne graduated from East Carolina University, and taught in the Wayne County Public School System for 33 years. She was passionate about children, and took a keen interest in their well-being.

Anne was a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church.

Quiet and easy going by nature, Anne enjoyed the simple things of life. She loved spending time in the yard and garden. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles.

A service to celebrate and honor Anne's life will be held Monday, Jan. 25, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Gerald Fowler officiating. A committal service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.

Anne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Carl "Bozo" Mozingo; two children, Amanda Johnson and husband, Joe, and Jonathan Mozingo; four grandchildren, Samantha and husband, Keith, Hartley, Kenley and Gray; sister, Kaye Allen; and three brothers, Jimmy Lynch, Jerry Lynch and John Ashley Lynch.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her stepfather, Marvin Gray, and stepmother, Katie Wade Lynch.

Anne's family will receive friends Monday following the service and at other times, the family will be at the home.
