Retired minister Mary A. Williams, 87, formerly of Goldsboro, died Jan. 6 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, N.J.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, with her daughter, the Rev. Bertha E. Williams, officiating. Interment will be at Sandhill Cemetery in Clinton.
She was born in Sampson County Aug. 2, 1928, to the late Marley and Alberta McLaurin Williams. She was married to the late James Richard Williams Sr.
She is survived by two sons and seven daughters.
Visitation will be 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday.
