Dianne Marie Underwood, 68, Goldsboro, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at her home.
Dianne was born in Vance County March 12, 1947, to the late Floyd Henry "Buddy" Wilkins and Hilda Mae Wilkins.
She was raised at the Odd Fellows Home.
Dianne was preceded in death March 22, 2015, by her husband of 47 years, Edward Luther Underwood.
A service celebrating Dianne's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Lennie Reagan and Robert Goff officiating. Interment will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Dianne is survived by her son, Paul Edward Underwood and wife, Stacie Marie, of Sherrills Ford; grandson, William Paul Underwood; and niece, Ginger Kay Wilkins of Rocky Mount.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death her brother, Jerry Wayne Wilkins of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in Dianne's memory to Odd Fellows Home Alumni Scholarship Fund, c/o Buck Abrams, Treasurer, 158 Quail Drive, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
