Elgie Bass Tedder, 81, Lucama, died Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service, followed by a funeral, with the Rev. Gene Thompson officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.
She was born in Johnston County Feb. 13, 1934, to the late Tresa Ferrell and John Turner Bass. She was married to the late Ralph Tedder and Leland C. Tedder.
She is survived by two daughters and a son.
