Minnie Louise Rhodes Sasser Dale, 83, died Tuesday at her residence.

Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Warden Sam Rhodes and Ethel Mitchell Rhodes, and wife of the late Robert Sasser and Brice Dale.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roland, Spicer, Russell and Jim Rhodes, along with her sister, Rachel Sasser.

She was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, a charter member and past president of Goldsboro Exchangettes and former owner of Robert's Communications.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Princeton Cemetery, with pastor Bill Rose officiating.

The family will remain to greet friends immediately following the service.

Louise is survived by her children, Robert Sasser Jr. and Deborah Harrison, and a granddaughter, Ashley Cable.
