Elder Eugene Lionel McCoy, 71, 1210 S. Best St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter Church of Christ Disciples of Christ of Kinston, with apostle Dennis R. Jacob officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in LaGrange.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Sept. 19, 1944, to the late Eugene McCoy Sr. and Thelma Willis McCoy. He was married to Carolyn McCoy.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, with the family present 5 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, the family will assemble at 10:50 a.m. at the home of Carolyn McCoy, 1210 S. Best St., for the funeral procession.
