JASPER L. "BUDDY" BROCK

Jasper Leroy "Buddy" Brock, 85, resident of the Beautancus community near Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was a retired farmer and had operated a small engine, lawnmower and golf cart repair shop.
He was a member of Salem Advent Christian Church.
Mr. Brock is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Melba Elaine Brock of Warsaw and Janet Brock Pippin and Charles Pippin, of Goldsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Stevie and Susan Brock, of Goldsboro; a son-in-law, Garry Grantham of Goldsboro; a sister, Thelma B. Taylor of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nedje Sullivan Brock; a daughter, Darlene B. Grantham; his parents, Ernest and Mary Frances Kornegay Brock; and his other siblings.
His life will be remembered at a graveside service Friday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Clayton Sutton.
Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home today (Thursday, Nov. 12) from 7 until 9 p.m.
