L. B. King, 66, 456 Lees Country Club Road, Mount Olive, died Wednesday.
He was born March 24, 1949, in Wayne County to Douglas and Sallie Phillips King.
His life will be remembered and celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Cathedral.
His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Carver Memorial Park.
In mourning, he leaves his wife, Audrey Boyette King, of the home; his children, LaDoris King and DeNeasha Strother; his siblings, Charles King, Laddie Moore, Geraldine Faison, Bessie Simmons and Margaret King; and a host other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
