Marjorie Elizabeth Howell Pike, 91, Fremont, went to be with her Lord and savior Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Brian Center of Goldsboro.
Homegoing services will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at 6 p.m. at Mount Nelson Missionary Baptist Church in Eureka.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Pike Cemetery in Pikeville.
Mrs. Pike was a native of Wayne County, born Nov. 23, 1923, to the late Redden and Fannie Davis Howell.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Ballance and husband, Raymond, of Fremont; two sons, Bobby Malcolm and wife, Kathy, of Pikeville and James Howell of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Iva Pittman of Rosewood and Betty Edmundson of Wilson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her husband, George Pike; four sisters; five brothers; and one great-grandchild.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
