William McKinley Jones, 84, died Monday at Wake Med Hospital in Cary.
Funeral will be today 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Free Will Baptist Church in Apex.
He was born Dec. 21, 1931, to the late McKever and Muzzetta Thompson Jones of Goldsboro. He was married to Laura Jones.
He is survived by a son, stepdaughters and stepsons.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
