Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Summerlin Mitchell and Daniel of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Neal Summerlin of Damascus, Va.; and granddaughter, Jessica Mae Wallace of Dudley, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Owen and Marguerite W. Denning; sister, Travis Ann Lane; and husband, Jesse Sheral Summerlin.
