Connie Waller Scott, 65, Pikeville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July, 23, 2015, at 9 a.m. in Purvis-Scott Family Cemetery on Hooks Road, with the Rev. Fred Crank officiating.
Connie was born in Lenoir County Oct. 6, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Bingham Condred Waller and Jeannette Stepp Waller.
She was married to Rufus E. "Scotty" Scott, who preceded her in death Oct. 27, 2011.
Connie is survived by her children, Jamie Scott of White Lake, Kathy Tyndall and husband, Dwight, of Pikeville and Danny Scott and wife, Cody, of Pikeville; grandchildren, Douglas Scott and Hunter Scott; stepgrandchildren, Jamye T. Murphrey and husband, Thomas, and Jessica Tyndall; and great-granddaughters, Kayleigh Tyndall and Kora Tyndall.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
