MARGARET JOYCE HOWELL PRICE

Margaret Howell Price, 74, died Thursday morning in Lynchburg, Va.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Burl Daniel and Essie Strickland Howell, and was the wife of the late Morgan Gerald Price.
Her daughter, Lori Price Lowe, and her brother, Kenny Howell, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with burial following in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
A retired teacher with Wayne County Public Schools, she was a member of the Christian Singles Club and III Century Singers.
Most special in her life this year was accepting Jesus Christ as her personal savior.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Tracy Womble Price of Lynchburg, Va.; a brother and sister, Andy Howell and Edna Hill; and her two grandchildren, Connor and Miranda Price.
