David C. "Dave" Herring Sr., 84, LaGrange, died Tuesday.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Stacy officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 28, 1930, in Lenoir County to the late Edward M. "Ed" Herring and Florence Wood Herring. He was the husband of the late Betty Rose Sutton Herring.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation will be tonight 6 to 8 at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times, at the home of David and Pam Herring, 4338 Frink School Road, LaGrange.
