Ronnie Gene Smith, 56, went to be with his Lord and savior Saturday, May 9, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5 to 6:45 p.m.
Interment will be held Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery at 10 a.m.
Mr. Smith was born in Wayne County May 13, 1958, to the late Herbert and Helen Smith.
He was a member of Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Smith; brother, Mike Smith; half-brother, Bill Smith; sister, Lydia Edwards and half-sister, Sara Rusk all of Goldsboro.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
