Girtle Lee Huffman Willoughby, 88, died Wednesday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lila B. Huffman, and was the wife of the late Otha Willoughby Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rose Hicks officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow the service in Wayne Memorial Park.
Girtle is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gene Willoughby of Dudley, Jimmy and Jean Willoughby of Goldsboro and Kenneth and Teresa Willoughby of Rosewood; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marie Willoughby of Dudley and Penny and Malcolm Kearney of Dudley; two sisters, Frances Anderson of Garner and Ruby Attaway of Norfolk, Va.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
