MADGE HILL KING

GOLDSBORO -- Madge Hill King, 90, passed away Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Madge was born in Wayne County on May 9, 1924 to the late Paul Haywood Hill and Sophia Crawford Hill. She was married to the late George Henry King. Madge was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women.
A service celebrating Madge's life will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Sandy Schaller officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Madge is survived by her sons, James Hill King and wife, Susan Asta of Escondido, Calif., George Paul King of Goldsboro and Warren W. King and wife, Charlotte Harper of Rosewood; five grandchildren, Ryan Henry King, Hollie Yvonne King Cannon and husband, David Ray Cannon Jr., Adam Paul King and wife, Flor, Henry Edward King and Brian Jesse King; and great-grandchildren, Victoria Ann King, Haley Rae McCullen, Mary Elizabeth King, Ashley Elizabeth King, Adam James King and Andrew Paul King.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary C. Martin, Pauline Edmundson and brother, Paul Haywood Hill Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
