PATRICIA HOWELL CRAWFORD

June 8, 1946-Jan. 16, 2015

Patricia Howell Crawford, 68, Laura Lane in Rosewood, went to be with her Lord and savior Friday afternoon with her family by her side.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.

Patricia or known by "Pat" was born in Johnston County June 8, 1946, to the late Walter and Ella Hicks Howell.

She retired after 31 years from O'Berry Center as supervisor of the beauty and barber shop.

She loved her family, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Crawford; daughter, Crystal Crawford Baca and her children, Kevin and McKenzie; daughter, Sherry Taylor and husband, David, and children, Stephen (Brittany) and Jordan; son, Jeff Sutton; three brothers, J.R. Howell, Billy Ray Howell and wife, Patsy, and Howard Howell; four sisters, Olive Mae Gravitt, Allene Lawhorn Vogen, Joyce Ruth Nemec and husband, Bob, and Linda Kay Williamson and husband, Jim; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Nolan; nieces and nephews; and a special friend of the family, Moses Baca.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Rudolph Howell; sister, Edna Martin; and her grandson, Zachary.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the residence.
