Pastor Constance G. Hall, 85, 528 Rollingwood Drive, Dudley, transitioned from labor to reward Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Greensboro, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Nov. 30, 1929, to the late Marshall Turner and Edith Hunter Turner in Merrifield, Va.
The anointing and divine call of God was evident upon her life and was witnessed by all who came in contact with her.
Pastor Hall served as pastor and founder of Chief Cornerstone Ministries for more than 20 years.
She also served as a faithful member and assistant pastor of Mt. Zion Church Ministries in Goldsboro.
The celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at noon at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, with pastor Reco Hart officiating.
Her mortal remains will be laid to rest in the First Congregational UCC Cemetery in Dudley.
Pastor Hall will lie in state Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, so that friends may offer final respects and tributes.
She is survived by her husband, David E. Hall; two sons, Ricky Ellis (Rose) and Glenn Ellis; a daughter, Davina Green (Michael); and a sister, Evelyn Ellis; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Ellis.
