Beulah L. Adams, 81, Goldsboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Beulah was born in Waterloo, N.Y., March 25, 1933, to the late Roy and Violet Monterville.
For many years, Beulah owned and operated a hairstyling salon at her home.
Through the years with her family and many friends, she had a patient, caring, understanding and open mind, found wonderful conversation thereby giving as well as receiving great love.
Beulah was a longtime member of Westwood United Methodist Church.
A service celebrating Beulah's life will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Westwood United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Terry Hobbs officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at 11 in Wayne Memorial Park.
Beulah is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Ray Adams; daughter, Cathy Marlow and husband, Jeff, of Rosewood; sons, Bobby Adams and wife, Susan, of Goldsboro and Steve Adams and wife, Michelle, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Jennifer Fink and husband, Dustin, Carrie Adams, Joshua Johnston, Jonathan Cruse, Bryce Adams and Sarabeth Adams; and great-grandchildren, Marlo Fink, Bradley and Gracie Johnston.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Westwood United Methodist Church, 130 Short St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service at the church and other times at her home.
