Mrs. Joanne Wilkerson Stevens, 83, Tega Cay, S.C., died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, S.C.
Funeral services will be private at a later date.
The family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at the Philip T. Glennon Center, 15083 Molokai Drive, Tega Cay, S.C., 29708.
A native of Hartsville, S.C., Mrs. Stevens was the daughter of the late Luther and Charlotte Wilkerson.
She attended Richmond Professional Institute, and graduated from Columbia University in 1953.
Surviving are her husband, V. Ray Stevens of Tega Cay S.C.; her son, David R. Stevens and his wife, Janet, of Indian Trail, N.C.; and her daughter, Lynne E. Stevens of Matthews, N.C.
