Billy Tart Sr., 78, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014.
Funeral services will be held today at 6 p.m. at St. John Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Jim Skinner and Richard Parson officiating.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by daughters Kaye Tart of Grantham and Beth Wood and husband, Steve, of Pikeville; sons Billy Tart Jr. and wife, Sabrina, of Grantham, Brian Tart and wife, Lisa, of Grantham; grandchildren Brook Wade, Rachael Tart, Kelsey Tart, Grace Tart, Bailey Wood and Justin Tart; great-grandchildren Tyler, Tanner and Chloe; a brother, John Tart of Grantham; a sister, Sarah Lewis of Wilson; a twin sister, Tillie Oliver of Rosewood; special friend, Jane Blackmon of Newton Grove; and special friends Fonville Day and children; Kelly Blackman and children; and Emily Blackman and Zachary.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda S. Tart; his parents, Lisker and Minnie Mae Tart; and a special friend, Faye J. Brooks.
