James Earl McKinney, 77, 300 Durham Lake Road, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Center, with apostle Frank M. Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late James and Bessie Miller McKinney.
Four children survive.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the residence.
