Susan Marie Beattie Foss, 58, LaGrange, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Susan was born in Milwaukee, Wis., Nov. 21, 1955, to the late William Wallace Beattie and Elaine Carolyn Pilgrim Beattie.
She had worked at Goldsboro Assisted Living, and was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Susan is survived by her husband, Eugene Foss; daughter, Allison Kay Foss (Scott); son, Matthew Eugene Foss (Ivy); her siblings, Michael Beattie, Kenneth Beattie (Debbie), Jeanette Gray (Paul), Barbara Jonen, Deborah Reise (Roger), Peter Beattie (Bonnie), Nancy Weber (Virgil), Katherine Pena (Fabian Sr.), Mary Corson, Christine Netz (Edward) and Bernard Beattie (Laura); and her brother and sisters-in-law, Patricia Ann Whaley, Melvin Junior Foss, Mary Foss (Tony) and Juanita Stallings (Kenny).
She is also survived by her special K-9 friend and companion, Sasha.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Beattie.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
