Richard J. Sessoms, 73, died Saturday at Carolina East Hospice Care Center in Kenansville.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Rose Hill Inc. Burial will be at Devotional Gardens.
He was the son of the Rev. J.B. and Mary Sessoms. He was marred to Kay Pope Sessoms.
He is survived by a daughter and a son.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Community Funeral Home.
