Michael Devon Faison, 53, 11525 Faison Hwy., died Saturday at the University of North Carolina Hospital at Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Willie Alford, officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, he was the son of Mondrick "Little Bud" and Joyce Waters Faison.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
