Mrs. Linnie Rae Ginn Hedgepeth, 76, Snow Hill, died Monday, April 7, 2014.
A native of Greene County, she was born Oct. 18, 1937, the daughter of Fred W. and Bettie Huber Ginn.
Mrs. Hedgepeth was a retired correctional officer, and a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Snow Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Steven Gay officiating.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Hedgepeth; brother, William "Jack" Ginn; and sister-in-law, Elma Bowen.
Her surviving family includes her children, Wanda Hedgepeth of Garner and Dennis Hedgepeth and David Hedgepeth both of Snow Hill; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Jones of Whitakers; and brother-in-law, Robert Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service, and other times at the residence.
