Jesse Ray Evans, 77, Selma, died Monday in Johnston Medical Center.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Hephzibah Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodard Cemetery.
He was born June 9, 1936, in Johnston County to the late Jesse Clarence and Lois Hines Evans. He was married to Carol Woodard Evans.
He is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
