LARRY E. MUSTIAN

MOUNT OLIVE -- Larry Eugene Mustian, 57, Grantham community, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 23, 2014, while at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A native of Hertford County, he was the son of the late Eugene Jerome and Geneva Miller Mustian.

Though he never served in the Armed Forces, still, he was very patriotic and held a strong allegiance towards his country.

He was a plumber, and had been employed with Stackhouse Plumbing.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Odom Mustian of the home; a son, Ryan Mustian and his friend, Heather Murray, of Delaware; two stepchildren, Jeremy Whitfield and wife, Karrie, and Heather W. King and husband, Jeremy, all of the Grantham community; three sisters, Michelle Boyd and husband, Johnny, of Ahoskie, Debbie Riddick and husband, Joe of Hertford and Marsha Beasley of Jackson, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Chance and Zack King and Brooke and Hunter Whitfield.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and will be conducted by the Rev. Tony Ward, and will be followed by burial at Wayne Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour before the service, and at other times, at the residence.
